Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride is colorless or light yellow transparent colloid, soluble in water and ethanol, and has good compatibility with cationic and nonionic surfactants. Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride has good chemical stability, heat resistance, light resistance, pressure resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance. Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride has excellent penetration, emulsification and sterilization properties. This product is used as a cationic surfactant, and can also be used in catalysts, emulsifiers, disinfectants, bactericides, antistatic agents, etc.

The main use of dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride:

1. Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can be used as a bactericide and antistatic agent for synthetic fibers. When drilling deep wells in oil fields, it can be used as an emulsifier for high temperature resistant water-in-oil emulsion mud. It can also be used as anti-sticking agent and release agent in latex industry.

2. Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can be used for sterilization and algae killing, slime stripping and system cleaning of industrial water treatment systems, and has a good sterilization effect. It is used as a bactericide in oil field reinjection water, food, paper and textile industry water, as a bactericidal and algaecide in the cooling water system of large chemical plants, as a slime preventive and release agent in the latex industry. It can also be used as an antistatic agent, leather and fiber softener, hair conditioner, latex foaming agent, metal cleaning and rubber emulsifier. When drilling deep wells, it is used as an emulsifier for high temperature resistant water-in-oil emulsified mud, and a flocculant for water and sludge treatment.

3. Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can be used as dispersant, corrosion inhibitor, paint finishing agent, etc. It is also a fungicide for agriculture, and a sterilization and disinfectant for silkworm houses, silkworm implements, livestock pens, and food machinery and appliances. When using 1231, it cannot be mixed with anionic active substances and cannot be directly added to food and feed as a disinfectant.
