Dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride belongs to Cationic surfactant.

Appearance (1), white to light yellow solid or colloid; (2), colorless to slightly yellow liquid.

Hazard Solid form: flammable and irritating. The harmful products of combustion are carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and so on. Strong irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory system. With strong oxidants, it will cause combustion.

Features Excellent antistatic, sterilization, antibacterial, anticorrosion, corrosion inhibition, solubilization, emulsification, dispersion, and wetting properties. Light fast. Acid resistant. Resistant to hard water. No cumulative toxicity. Avoid simultaneous use with chlorophenol fungicides. It has special effects on killing sulfate-reducing bacteria.

As a levelling agent for cationic dyes, it is used in textiles, printing and dyeing and other fields.

As an antistatic agent, bactericide, etc., it is used in textile, fiber, leather and other fields.
